Happy May 1st! Let's celebrate trade unions' successes

01/05/2016
Trade unions are famous for improving the lives and working conditions of workers in the 19th century, and in the decades after WWII.
Trade unions haven’t stopped working for justice for workers. Indeed, important successes were achieved in the 1980s, ‘90s, and ‘00s and are still being achieved today.
First of May is the occasion for EFFAT to remember all victories achieved for a better and fairer society and conditions for all workers in Europe. Despite the challanges lying ahead our movement will continue to learn from the past, stand united and achieve much more for the future to come.

Happy May 1st!
