Bonduelle: New EWC agreement signed


On 22 March 2017, a new Bonduelle EWC agreement was signed by all EWC members and trade union representatives. As a signatory party, EFFAT contributed to this successful outcome. EFFAT Expert Enrico Somaglia, who assisted the EWC negotiations, said that “it was a long negotiation with intense discussions and several difficult points. However, thanks to the constructive approach taken by both parties, we concluded a successful agreement which is an added value for Bonduelle employees and the whole Group”.

An in-depth discussion was held during the meeting about the Group’s future business developments and the current financial and social situation after recent structural developments. Bonduelle has just completed the acquisition of Ready Pac Foods, the US market leader in single serve salad bowls. The acquisition strengthens Bonduelle’s international footprint and changes its profile, by shifting the bulk of its operations to the US.
